Will
is a speedy and direct forward player equally at home either at centre-forward
or playing down the wing. He seems to have pace to burn and although
happier with the ball in front of him also has some physical strength
to hold the ball up and compete in the air. His goalscoring form played
a significant role in firing Slimbridge to the Hellenic Premier title
last season, but having returned to the Gloucestershire area to continue
at college the Swans decision not to take up promotion to the Southern
League left him without a side. Will is another player picked up through
our connections to Hartpury UWE where team mate Marc Richards coaches,
and having impressed City boss Tim Harris in training has now been
drafted into the squad to bolster an attack struggling for goals.
Originally from East Anglia, Morford has also represented the British
Universities side on several occasions and won last season's BUSA
competition with Hartpury winning the final at QPR's Loftus Road. |
