Troy is a pacey striker who has arrived at City with an exciting reputation as a prolific goalscorer with Conference North outfit Worcester City. The teenager was prolific at youth level for his club and has translated that form into the first team, scoring five goals in 14 games in his debut season at St. George's Lane and adding two further goals in this campaign - including one in the County Cup tie against Stourport Swifts in midweek just before joining us.

Wood's form had been keenly tracked by City boss Tim Harris and the one month loan signing was intended to help City over a striker crisis prompted by injuries to both Jason Welsh and Jody Bevan. However despite showing a good turn of pace and some promising touches Wood's runs and positioning showed his lack of experience and he never quite shone at Meadow Park, heading back to Worcester with just three appearances to his name.
